Are you between 14 to 26? Are you loud, crazy, friendly, caring and willing to try anything? If so, then read on!

Rangers is one of the many choices for Senior Section members. Although you're still part of a uniformed group within Girlguiding UK , things couldn't be more different! Rangers are as different from Guides as school is from college.

In Rangers the emphasis is on doing what you want, when you want and how you want!

The only real limitation is your imagination. For example, have you ever wanted to try scuba-diving, hot-air ballooning or white-water rafting? Or perhaps you'd rather try silk painting, reflexology or ferret racing! The point is, it's completely up to you. Whatever you fancy doing can be incorporated into Look Wider, the Senior Section programme, and you can do all these things with the support of your unit.

In addition to doing lots of stuff with your Ranger group, you can also join other groups within Guiding and outside, such as Duke of Edinburgh's Award groups, Queen's Guides, LINK or SSAGO - to name but a few!

If you fancy helping out in a unit or even leading one, there are loads of opportunities open to Rangers.

As members of the Senior Section you may also have the opportunity to represent the Association around the world at conferences, exhibitions, camps and on service projects.

How many other groups give you that sort of opportunity?

East Division Rangers is open to anyone in East Division, Leicestershire. Whether or not you have been a Rainbow, Brownie or Guide, you can be assured of a warm welcome – we are a lively friendly bunch, always pleased to receive new members.

We plan our own programme which is based on Girlguiding UK's “Look Wider” scheme – there are many opportunities to gain awards/new skills (one of our number is currently working towards her Queen's Guide Award), or if life at home/school is busy, rangers can provide an opportunity to “chat and chill” – we are particularly keen on anything that involves food/chocolate!!

The Rangers meet during term-time, if you would like more information please contact us.
